Customer On-Site Visit & Feedback Exchange on Forging Usage
Manufacturing must be guided by actual customer needs, and on-site usage feedback is key to process optimization. Recently, two long-term customers with five to six years of cooperation with Qingliang Mould paid a special visit, toured the workshop to discuss forging usage conditions, and put forward several practical optimization suggestions.

The customer team first visited the full production process, from cutting, forging, heat treatment to machining and quality inspection, understanding each process detail and communicating with on-site technicians on key procedures. They then discussed issues encountered in field use: mining forgings showed excessive wear at edge areas, requiring replacement in less than six months; connecting forgings had minor deviations in mounting hole positions, requiring manual filing during installation which was time-consuming. These problems exposed under field conditions are difficult to fully capture through factory testing, making them critical for process improvement.

Addressing the feedback, the technical department, machining team and on-site technicians immediately developed solutions: reinforcing the easily worn areas and adjusting heat treatment parameters to improve surface hardness; redesigning the positioning fixture in the machining workshop to ensure precise mounting hole locations. Customers noted that the company's responsive, solution-oriented attitude is key to their long-term cooperation. This visit not only resolved existing issues but also helped the company better understand customer needs, guiding the production of more application-specific forgings in the future.
