Forged Parts Finished Goods Warehouse Management & Delivery Process Optimization
Warehouse management of finished forged parts is the final stage before order delivery, and irregular management directly impacts delivery efficiency and accuracy. Recently, Qingliang Mould has optimized its finished forged parts warehouse management process through zoned storage and ledger traceability, making the warehousing and issuing of finished goods more orderly.

Previously, our finished forged parts warehouse lacked systematic organization, with forgings from different customers and specifications stored together. Even with basic labeling, finding and verifying items became increasingly time-consuming as order volumes grew. On one occasion, we even mistakenly shipped parts intended for one customer to another, resulting in wasted logistics costs and a negative impact on our corporate reputation.
For the optimization, we re-planned the warehouse layout into three dedicated zones: Inspection Pending Area, Qualified Goods Area, and Delivery Pending Area. Each zone is further subdivided by customer, order batch, and forging specification, with every stack clearly labeled with customer name, order number, specification, quantity, and production date.

We also implemented a digital ledger system: details of each batch of forgings are entered into the system upon receipt, and scanned and verified during dispatch to ensure inventory accuracy. Before shipment, warehouse staff and the sales department conduct a dual check of order details to confirm accuracy before arranging delivery.
As a result, finding and verifying items now takes just minutes, with no further cases of incorrect or missed shipments. Order delivery efficiency has significantly improved, and customer feedback has become increasingly positive.
