Title: Regular Maintenance of Forging Dies Eliminates Emergency Rush Repair
Previously, our workshop only carried out die maintenance after breakdown. Unexpected die damage would lead to long maintenance hours and full production line shutdown during urgent order periods.

We have established a periodic maintenance system: all forging dies are disassembled for inspection after specified service cycles, with surfacing, polishing and spare part replacement as required. While several operators worried about production delay at the initial stage, remarkable benefits have been achieved after practical operation.
Taking the commonly-used flange forging die as an example: it used to fail every half month with one full day for repair; with weekly maintenance, the die has run steadily for more than one month without malfunction. Properly maintained dies produce forgings with higher precision and cut down subsequent machining workload.

All staff have formed daily maintenance habits: cleaning dies and coating anti-rust oil after production, troubleshooting minor defects timely. Unplanned emergency repair is greatly reduced and production runs smoothly, which verifies that adequate preparation boosts working efficiency.
