Optimized Process Interconnection for Forging Production, Ensuring a Smooth and Stable Production Rh
Forging production is a sequential process, where the progress and quality of the previous process directly affect the smooth execution of the next step. Recently, Qingliang Mould has optimized the interconnection mechanism of each process across the entire forging production workflow. By clarifying communication nodes and standardizing handover procedures, we have significantly improved production flow efficiency.

As those in the forging industry know, the biggest concern is "disconnections" between processes. Previously, the factory encountered issues such as the blanking team failing to inform the forging team of billet specification adjustments in a timely manner due to tight schedules, resulting in forgings being produced to outdated specifications with incorrect dimensions. On another occasion, forgings were not promptly sent to quality inspection after forging, leading to them being stored in a corner of the workshop and overlooked. Issues were only discovered during machining, causing several days of delays in the production schedule. For this optimization, the production department led the implementation of a "daily handover meeting" system: 10 minutes before the end of each workday, the heads of blanking, forging, machining and quality inspection teams meet to clarify the day's production progress, encountered issues, and handover requirements for the following day. At the same time, a simple handover checklist was introduced: after completing the previous process, details including material specifications, process parameters and precautions must be clearly documented and signed off before being handed over to the next process.

For orders involving special-shaped forgings or complex specifications, upstream and downstream processes also hold pre-meetings to fully discuss process difficulties and handover details. Now, there are no more "waiting for materials" or "wrong materials" situations in the workshop: as soon as blanking is completed, the forging team is prepared; as soon as forgings come out of the furnace, quality inspection follows up promptly. The entire production process flows smoothly like an assembly line, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of order deliveries.
